Syeda Shehla Raza on the Women's Wing and the ground

Send your children here instead — coaching is free of cost, and they'll be in a healthy environment, in a beautiful place.

Syeda Shehla Raza · MNA; Chairperson, KHA Women's Wing

Raza has chaired KHA's Women's Wing, and the Sindh Hockey Association's Women's Wing, continuously since September 2016. In a video shared by the association, she describes the complex in Gulshan-e-Iqbal as now also including a sports arena — football, a padel court, volleyball, cricket and a gymnasium — alongside the hockey ground, with a gymkhana due to open there soon.

Her invitation is aimed especially at families in Districts East and Central: send children to the ground for coaching rather than "wasteful pastimes," as she puts it, in what she describes as a safe environment for them.
